National Secondary School Culinary Challenge
The level of skill and creativity in all the regional competitions for the National Secondary School Challenge has been universally impressive. Students made excellent use of fresh New Zealand grown tomatoes as the principal component of an entrée with some stunning dishes including gazpacho, consommé, tasting plates, scones, tarts, sauces and pinwheels. New e-learning resources a good start
At the end of last year we released a limited number of hospitality resources online. Since then we’ve been listening to teachers and students to find out what’s working and where we can improve. Students have the opportunity to complete a survey when they finish each resource and the feedback so far is overwhelmingly positive.
eLearning platform feedback will allow us to continually improve the system and create a positive online experience for schools.
