Alternative Pathways to University Expo

Year 11 and 12 students from Sacred Heart College, Hutt Valley High School, St Oran's, St Bernard's and Chilton attended the Alternative Pathways to University Expo held at the Walter Nash Stadium on 6 and 7 June.

The expo aimed to introduce senior students to the broad range of opportunities available to them when they leave school. The students left the expo with a good understanding of apprenticeships, diploma courses and training while on the job. They will now be able to make informed decisions about their future based on solid information.

The day was organised by Lower Hutt schools career teachers with support from employers, ITOs and other organisations.
