Two of the three leading retail professionals for the Upper North Island come from Resene.
One of the three finalists will be named the region’s winner at the regional TOP SHOP Awards dinner on 22 October. They will go on to join the winners of the other four regions in the National Awards, where one will be named the ServiceIQ New Zealand Retail Professional 2014.
The Upper North Island finalists are:

“Michael is a loyal, focused and hardworking member of my team and I am very proud of his dedication and achievements within the Service IQ training programmes and also within our own training and development programmes in the short time he has been working with me,” says Resene Manager Stacey Bates.
Resene Mount Roskill manager Andrew Kennard: “Rebekah is an outstanding employee. She has completed Resene internal training modules well before time, she is very self-motivated. Her customer service skills are second to none and she develops excellent relationships with customers.”
Dick Smith Store Manager Mark Ashton says Desiree is studying towards ServiceIQ’s Level 3 retail qualification. “Since Desiree has started with the business she has risen through the ranks and kept on top of her targets as well as doing her day to day jobs.”
All ServiceIQ Retail Professional nominees have worked in retail for four years or less, and have completed or are studying towards a ServiceIQ National Certificate in Retail.

The winners from each of the five regions will gather in Auckland on 22 October to learn who will win the inaugural ServiceIQ New Zealand Retail Professional Award.
