At ServiceIQ, we know that every qualification must do more than just look good on paper – it has to deliver in the real world.
That’s why our Quality Assurance team plays such a vital role behind the scenes, participating each year in NZQA Consistency Reviews for a range of qualifications. It’s part of our commitment to ensuring every graduate is equipped with the skills and knowledge their qualification promises — no matter where or how they trained.
Put simply, these reviews ask:
- Can a graduate actually do what the qualification says they can?
- Are learners across the country meeting the same high standard?
- Does the qualification deliver real value to employers and the industry?
By answering those questions, consistency reviews help uphold the strength and reputation of New Zealand qualifications – something recognised both here and around the world.
Your voice matters
Feedback from learners and employers is a key part of this process.
“We really appreciate the time people take to share their experiences,” says the Ivonne Brooker-Leon, ServiceIQ Quality Assurance Manager “It’s how we make sure our programmes remain current, relevant, and effective across all sectors we support.”
Participation is easy:
- Keep an eye out for an online survey (sent to recent graduates and their employers).
- You may also be invited to a one-on-one interview to share deeper insights.
If you've already contributed – thank you! Your input is helping shape the future of vocational training in Aotearoa.
