Russell-ing up TOP 10 service

19/07/2019

Being a people person meant that Einnee Facey’s move from several years in banking and finance to a reception role at Russell’s TOP 10 Holiday Park was a real step forward.

Within six months of that day in 2016, she was the business’s assistant manager. Another 12 months saw her move into the park’s manager role. Her drive, skills and determination saw her receive monthly sales awards, and the Russell park sit in the top five overall membership sellers for the entire TOP 10 group – despite Russell being a significantly smaller park than the others.

To top all that off, last month, Einnee was announced as New Zealand’s Holiday Parks Emerging Star, an annual award for industry professionals under the age of 35. Chosen for her exceptional leadership of the Russell TOP 10 team and a dedication to a great visitor experience, it also recognises her passion and commitment to both the holiday park industry and her local community.

While she’s gained many laurels, Einnee’s certainly not resting on them. She’s completed service and first aid training, and is working on-job towards a ServiceIQ New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (Level 4) as part of a joint ServiceIQ/TOP 10 pilot.

Daniel Tilton, CEO of Next Generation Holiday Parks, which owns Russell TOP 10 Holiday Park, calls Einnee “a fantastic leader who has built a stellar team around her”.

“Staff satisfaction is high, staff turnover is low, and it shows in the consistency of experience that is delivered to park guests,” he says.

“She is engaged in the local community and strives to ‘grow the pie’ for Russell businesses in general. She’s an active member of the Bay of Islands Marketing Group and works collaboratively with other Northland TOP 10 parks to drive visitation to the region.”

Einnee Facey circleFergus Brown, who is Chief Executive of the billion-dollar sector’s industry association, Holiday Parks New Zealand, was delighted to make the 2019 Emerging Star award to Einnee.

“She has a passion for the holiday park industry and shows a deep commitment to delivering world-class customer experience. She goes out of her way to ensure every customer feels special and leaves with a smile on their face.

“Einnee has the sort of dedication and enthusiasm you wish you could bottle and give to all your staff.”

Soon she will have her ServiceIQ Tourism qualification, earned on the job, under her belt. That’ll be another step on her journey to Russell-up more success.
